“My inspiration for this song was all the struggles that I’ve been through and my grandma who passed away,” GRNDMODE shared. The single resonates with themes of perseverance and homage, reflecting his journey and the influences that have shaped him.

The path hasn’t been easy. “I’ve faced depressing moments, setbacks, and family members dying over the course of my music career,” GRNDMODE revealed. His most memorable experience remains the recording sessions of his first album, “College Hill 4L,” an ode to the neighborhood where he grew up. “The album to me was an ode to the neighborhood I grew up in,” he reflected.
