Canadian-born St. John’s (Newfoundland) artist “Hippy Junior” is a shining example that anything is possible no matter what obstacles are thrown against you. The young up-and-coming artist has just released his latest single “What Ever I Want” which will be accompanied by a music video sometime in December 2022. Hippy Junior also anticipates a new project titled “BeYourself pr.2” with artist Jwaves coming very soon. He will also be opening a show for Slim Dinero on October 30th at the Cotton Club (St. John’s) as well! Hippy Junior’s music is dynamic and expands not only on storytelling but real-life events/ and experiences. He has collaborated with other local artists such as Dimes, Nurse, and many others from Newfoundland. Aside from just music, Hippy Junior has given back to his community in many ways. He is involved and the director at HipHopShopNL – a not-for-profit that helps fundraise for food, clothing, and used goods. They also help run a free food pantry for those in need within the neighbourhood. Hippy Junior is a fine example of an artist who not only cares about his craft but also represents his community with the utmost pride! He creates music that emphasizes not only the good in life but also the bad as well. From personal experience to everyday struggles, Hippy Junior tries to paint a portrait that vouches for positivity and motivation.
